Introduction:
Knee is the largest synovial joint. It is composed of two joints. One is the distal joint of the femur and the other joint is the proximal joint of tibia. The patella bone remains in its fixed place by the help of patellar ligament. For the same reason it is also helped by the two internal ligaments which are the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments.
