Concept introduction:

The vertebral column is not straight and has some flexibility. There are four spinal curvatures in the vertebral column. These curvatures include the sacral curvature, lumbar curvature, cervical curvature, and thoracic curvature. Among these curvatures, sacral and thoracic are primary curves; while lumbar and cervical are secondary curves.
