Introduction:

Lipids are naturally occurring compounds which are present in cell membrane in form of cholesterol, glycolipids and phospholipids. Cholesterol is a steroid that contains fused hydrocarbons in its structure.

Fatty acids are the building blocks of our meal which are basically forming fat in our body. When food is consumed, fats are converted into fatty acids which are then absorbed into blood.
