Explanation of Solution
Given:
The scale model of certain object is produced by extending each dimension by a constant.
Calculation:
In order for the scale model to be proportional to the original object, all dimensions must be extended by multiplying by the same factor. If the dimensions are extended by a constant value, then the original object should have equal lengths. Hence the original object must be regular so that all the proportions remain same.
