The length of the BC is 10, BD is 5 and $x=3$ .

Given:

Calculation:

From the triangle it is clear that the side CB and CD are equal then,

  $\begin{array}{l}2x+4=10\\ x=\frac{10-4}{2}\\ x=3\end{array}$

Then, the length of the $2x+4$ is,

  $\begin{array}{c}2\left(3\right)+4=6+4\\ =10\end{array}$

The, side BD is obtained as,

  $\begin{array}{c}BD=x+2\\ =3+2\\ =5\end{array}$

Thus, the length of the BC is 10, BD is 5 and $x=3$ .
