Introduction:
Fermentation can be defined as an anaerobic breakdown of the glucose molecule to produce energy (ATP). The end products of the lactic acid fermentation process were lactic acid and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+); whereas, carbon dioxide, ethanol, and NAD+ are produced during the alcoholic fermentation process.
