Chapter 7.2, Problem 7.5CP
Program Plan Intro
Array:
An array is defined as a group that consists of similar data types, but the size of array can also declared which indicates that the number of values an array can hold and it is always indexed, starting from 0.
Reference type:
Reference type works different from value type. It is not directly stores its value instead it stores the memory address where the value is being stored. There are two things for reference type. They are,
- • An object that is generated in memory location.
- • A variable that references the object.
The syntax for instantiation of object is as follows:
They need two steps to create a reference type object. They are,
- • First need to declare the reference variable.
- • Second need to create an object and relate it with the reference variable.

When you have generated all of the ages, and populated the ages array, you must output them to the screen as shown below. Your program should calculate and print to the screen the number of students who are less than 40 years of age and the number of students who are 40 years of age or older. You should output these in the format as shown below. Your program should find the average age of students in the class and print this average to the screen, as shown below.arrow_forward

- What is sent into the parameter variable when an array is supplied as an argument?arrow_forwardLotto Program C++Write a program that simulates the Powerball lottery. In Powerball, a ticket is comprised of 5 numbers between 1 and 69 that must be unique, and a Powerball number between 1 and 26. The Powerball does not have to be unique. Hint: You can use an array to represent the 5 unique numbers between 1 and 69, and an integer variable to represent the powerball. The program asks the player if they'd like to select numbers or do a 'quickpick', where the numbers are randomly generated for them. If they opt to select numbers, prompt them to type the numbers in and validate that they are unique (except the powerball), and in the correct range. The program then generates a 'drawing' of 5 unique numbers and a Powerball, and checks it against the user's lotto ticket. It assigns winnings accordingly. Because it is so rare to win the lottery, I suggest hard coding or printing values to when testing the part of the program that assigns winnings.arrow_forwardC# - One sentece answer - short answer - only a statementarrow_forward
