Introduction:
Gene expression is a process by which the genetic information encoded in the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is interpreted and then decoded to synthesize required gene products in the form of proteins. The process involves transcription and translation. The process becomes more complex in eukaryotic organisms as compared to prokaryotes. They are physically separated and the regulation can be done at several levels.
