Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Meiosis is the process of cell division occurring in sexually reproducing organism. In the process the number of chromosomes is reduced to half resulting into four haploid cells. Different phases of meiosis are prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. During the cycle, a pair of homologous chromosomes is formed.
