Record the given data,

P = 22.4 atmV = ?n = 3.00 moleT = 27°C converted to 300K

Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

PV=nRT

V=nRTP

V=(3.00mole)(0.0821atm.L/mole.K)(300K)(22.4atm)=3.30L

Therefore, the new volume is 3.30L.

(b)

Record the given data,

P = ?V = 8.00Ln = 2.00 moleT = 73°C converted to 346K

Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

PV=nRT

P=nRTV

P=(2.00mole)(0.0821atm.L/mole.K)(346K)(8.00L)=7.10atm

Therefore, the new pressure is 7.10atm.

Record the given data,

P = 2.50atmV =2.50 Ln = ?T = -173°C converted to 100K

Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

PV=nRT

n=PVRT

n=(2.50atm)(2.50L)(0.0821atm.L/mole.K)(100K)=0.761mole

Therefore, the number of moles is 0.761mole.

Record the given data,

Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

Now, convert the obtained Kelvin temperature into degree Celsius temperature by using the following equation,
