Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

PV=nRT

P=nRTV

P=(2.00mole)(0.0821atm.L/mole.K)(400K)(2.00L)=32.8atm

Therefore, the new pressure is 32.8atm.

(b)

Record the given data,

P = 6.00 atmV =?n = 4.00 moleT = -73°C converted to 200K

Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

PV=nRT

V=nRTP

V=(4.00mole)(0.0821atm.L/mole.K)(200K)(6.00atm)=10.9L

Therefore, the new volume is 10.9L.

Record the given data,

P = 3.75atmV =3.75 Ln = ?T = 100°C converted to 373K

Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

PV=nRT

n=PVRT

n=(3.75atm)(3.75L)(0.0821atm.L/mole.K)(373K)=0.459mole

Therefore, the number of moles is 0.459mole.

Record the given data,

Now, substitute these values in ideal gas law and do some mathematical calculation as shown in below,

PV=nRT

T=PVnR

T=(1.22atm)(2.00L)(0.0821atm.L/mole.K)(0.500mole)=59.43K

Now, convert the obtained Kelvin temperature into degree Celsius temperature by using the following equation,

59273=214°C

Therefore, the new temperature is 214°C.
