For A learning Activity ( for example training day) , A situation at working, feedback from colleague and feedback from a patient, reflect on how the experience can improve your knowledge, skills or understanding?

Do nurses in your department need training in a specific area like charting, interpersonal communication, etc.?  Does your employer need to build additional training facilities or offer a larger breakroom (that might seem minor, but it could be a problem!)?   Describe the problem you identified in detail. You do not need to offer a specific solution, but you may. After you have describe the problem in detail, identify your audience. Who precisely needs to be alerted about this problem? What do you know about this audience? (This may require some light research.) What do you not know?

If the communication is therapeutic, write “therapeutic” and indicate the therapeutic technique being used.  If the communication is non-therapeutic, indicate the non-therapeutic communication technique that is used and then REWRITE the dialogue to make it therapeutic. A hospitalized patient states that he is not happy with his doctor because he rarely spends more than one minute in his room when he does his rounds. The nurse responds, “He is like that with all his patients.  For all the money he gets paid he should spend more time with his patients!”

A nurse is providing discharge instructions to a client who will be using a walker. Which of the following client statements indicates an understanding of the teaching? ......
