Concept introduction: The musculoskeletal system of the body is composed of skeleton (bones and joint) and the soft tissues (skeletal muscles, ligaments and tendons). The attachment site of two or more bones is known as a joint or an articulation. The function of the joints is to provide stability and mobility to the skeleton. Joint flexibility is the ability to move joints or group of joints in a complete range of motion.
