Summary Introduction
Case report: B. P is a 2-year old boy who was referred to the ENT clinic by his pediatrician. Mother of the B. P states that he is experiencing breathing difficulties while sleeping, more specifically during the head cold. Clinical examination of his nasal passages reveals the displacement of the septum to one side, which is responsible for impaired airflow through the nostrils. Moreover, his adenoids and tonsils are also enlarged. This, in turn, makes breathing even more hard. The ENT specialist schedules a surgical repair of the septum and removal of the tonsils and adenoids.
