The water of the ocean comes from where.
Answer to Problem 1TC
The process of outgassing and the continuous cooling of the Earth results in the formation of ocean.
Explanation of Solution
The process of nuclear fusion within stars is responsible for the formation of elements that are heavier than hydrogen. The amount of oxygen present in water is formed in this way; however, the most of the hydrogen present in water is primordial. During the condensation of the Earth into a planet, lighter materials like water vapor ascend into the surface, while heavier substances sink.
Most of the water present on the surface of the Earth are believed to be escaped from the crust and mantle through the process of outgassing. The continuous cooling of the Earth results in eventual condensation of water vapor and the formation of ocean. The addition of solids and gases into the ocean occurs following the outgassing of other substances and the ability of water to dissolve the materials present when it cycles from the ocean into the atmosphere and the land and back again.
