The speed of an electron having de Broglie wavelength is to be calculated.

Concept introduction: According to de Broglie the kinetic energy of electron is dependent on the movement of electron and its wavelength. De Broglie relation states that if the electron is moving fast then it is having higher kinetic energy and shorter wavelength. The expression for the same is,
λ=hmv

The value of Planck’s constant (h) is 6.626×1034J .

To determine: The speed of an electron having de Broglie wavelength.
