Introduction:
The pituitary gland is responsible for the secretion of the growth hormone. When the pituitary glands do not secrete adequate amount of growth hormone, the condition is known as pituitary dwarfism. When the secretion of the growth hormone by the pituitary glands exceeds a given limit, it leads to the pituitary gigantism.
