Expert Solution & Answer
Chapter 6.3, Problem 6.10CP
Explanation of Solution
Pass-by-value:
- Nowadays, the arguments are passed by value.
- The parameter and the argument variables have separate memory.
- When arguments are passed by value, the parameter variable gets the copy of the argument value.
- A copy of the argument’s value which is passed into the parameter variable is referred as pass by value.
- In pass by value, the called method creates new variables to store the value of the arguments passed to it.
- If the parameter variable contents are changed within the method, then there will be no effect in calling the program.
Example:
//Include libraries
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.Threading.Tasks;
//Define namespace
namespace ConsoleApplication6
{
//Define a class
class Program
{
//Define a constructor for class
private static void show(int a)
{
//Assign value to variable 'a'
a = 0;
//Display value
Console.WriteLine(a);
//Call method
shows(a);
//Display value
