Given information: a system of linear equation is given as follows-

  $\begin{array}{l}y=x-4\\ y=-x\end{array}$

$y=x-4$
$x$	2	0
$y$	-2	-4

$y=-x$
$x$	2	0
$y$	-2	0

Taking two points from the table we can draw the graphs, and the intersecting point is solution of given system of linear equation.

Check:

Putting (2, -2) in equation, $y=x-4$ we get,

  $\begin{array}{l}-2=2-4\\ -2=-2\end{array}$

Again putting (2, -2) in equation, $y=-x$ we get,

  $-2=-2$

Hence the point (2, -2) satisfies both the equation.
