Chapter 6, Problem 6TYU
Summary Introduction

Introduction: Proteins are produced by the ribosome, as it is known as the center of protein synthesis. After synthesis of protein, the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) keeps the protein in transitional ER. After leaving the ER, many transport vesicles travel to the Golgi apparatus. As Golgi apparatus is the center for shipping and receiving, the products of the ER are modified and then delivered to the other destination. Then, the secretory protein travels to the lysosome, as it is called the membranous sac of hydrolytic enzyme.
