Interpretation:

If in a rigid vessel of given volume, saturated water vapor and liquid water is filled at 101.325kPa .Find out amount of heat added to vessel for just evaporation of liquid water.

Concept Introduction:

During the heat transferred in the process, total mass and volume remains constant. So, the total volume after the heat addedis same as total volume at 101.325kPa . So, find the total volume and mass at 101.325kPa using the saturated steam table and use them to find pressure after the heat added.

The heat transferred in the process is defined as:

Where m is the mass of steam, U2 is the internal energy after heat transferred and U1 is the internal energy before heat transferred.
