Concept Introduction:
When it is intended to start up a business, selecting a suitable location is among the most important decisions to be made. Even the leading organizations that thrive today have been very small initially. The correct choice of location has been the success factor in many such cases. When deciding the business location aspects such as the distance from warehouses, production facilities, suppliers and most importantly customers or the markets must be determined. The business location should facilitate in maintaining minimal lead time between obtaining raw materials and providing the final product to the customer. After selecting the location, managing it and also the management of multisite when the business is being expanded must be done with much prudence.
