Summary Introduction

To discuss: If RNA molecule form a hairpin with a symmetric internal loop whether the complement of this RNA would form a similar structure and if yes which two regions of the two structures be identical.

Introduction:

A hairpin is an unpaired loop of mRNA that is generated when a strand of mRNA folds and pairs with another part of that RNA strand. The RNA molecule can fold due to the complementary base-pairing and hydrogen bonding between nucleotides in the RNA strand.
