Introduction:

A nutritionally balanced feed containing fat, protein, minerals, carbohydrates, and vitamins are directly delivered into the jejunum or duodenum and stomach is referred to as enteral feeding. There are different types of enteral feeding. They are gastrostomy feeding, nasoenteric feeding, and jejunostomy feeding. The nutritional recommendations before and in the course of pregnancy is termed as prenatal nutrition. The prenatal nutrition offers a strong effect on the development and birth weight of the infant. Taking a healthy diet during pregnancy is associated with the development of the fetal brain. Balanced diet also helps in improving the labor and delivery as well.
