Explanation of Solution

The tropical lizard has a behavioral system that helps it to manage a fairly uniform temperature of the body. The lizard basks in the open sun where there are patches of sunlight and then goes back to shade when the body becomes too hot. In shaded areas where there is low availability of sun the lizards adapt and becomes conformer, and subsequently adjust their body temperature to that of the surrounding.

The slope of the lizards in shaded areas indicate the constant increase in body temperature with respect to the surrounding whereas the slope of the tropical lizard in open habitat shows a uniform range of temperature maintained by the organisms irrespective of the change in air temperature.
