T is the temperature in Kelvin.

R is the universal gas constant.

For constant values of volume and temperature equation (1) can be written as follows:

For two different values of pressure and no. of moles of gas, equation (2) can be modified  as follows:

P1n1=P2n2 (3)

Here,

P1 is the initial pressure of the gas.

P2 is the final pressure of the gas.

n1 is the initial no. of moles of gas.

n2 is final no. of moles of gas.

The formula to calculate no. of moles is as follows:
