Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The pregnancy results after the fertilization of male and female gametes. During pregnancy, the female experiences the change of hormonal level. The sudden increase of progesterone and estrogen helps in maintaining the pregnancy and also helps in the development of the fetus inside the mother’s womb. During pregnancy, the other hormones like prostaglandin and oxytocin level also increases, which helps with the delivery of the fetus.
