To review:

The organisms that synthesize organic compounds in deep-sea thermal vents and cold seep communities are to be named. Also, the difference between the organisms from the photic zone and those that synthesize organic compounds in hydrothermal vents are to be mentioned.

Introduction:

The temperature of the water in the oceans decreases below the freezing point as one proceeds to the bottom of the water body. However, scientists discovered some zones in the oceans comprising hot vents which release steam from the crust. These vents are called thermal vents.
