Chapter 51, Problem 2CT
Summary Introduction
To analyze:
The reason for the occurrence of two or more numbers for a species in the rapid identification test.
Introduction:
In rapid identification test, disks and strips are used for the identification puposes of the microorganisms. In this method, presence of enzyme in the microbe is checked by chromogenic substrates or indicators. Moreover, the sensitivity of a substance to an organism can also be identified by this test.
