A chiral molecule does not have a plane of symmetry, and it cannot be bisected in such a way that one half of the molecule is the mirror image of the other half. The chiral molecule has no plane of symmetry. Plane of symmetry is shown by a dashed line that splits the molecule into two equal halves.
