Sebaceous gland are an exocrine gland that produces an oily substance called sebum. They are present all over the body, most abundantly in the scalp of hair and face. These gland does not present in palm and soles.
Exocrine gland is of three types:
- Merocrine
- Apocrine
- Holocrine
