  $\frac{\Delta c}{\Delta x}=\frac{\left(c_1-c_2\right)\left(\text{n atoms/unit cell}\right)}{\Delta x{\left(\text{Lattice parameter}\right)}^3/\text{unit}\text{celll}}\mathrm{...........}\left(1\right)$

Here, $c_1$ is the low concentration region, $c_2$ is the high concentration region and $\Delta x$ is the change in distance.
