One-to-many relationship (1:N):
One-to-many relationship is one of the types of binary relationship that refer to the relationship between two entities which means one parent field or record can be associated with one or more child field or record.
ID-dependent entity:
In the entity-relationship model, an identifier of one entity is dependent on the identifier of another entity and it is special kind of weak entity.
- In entity-relationship model, id-dependent entity is represented as rounded corners.
- Note: Identifier is an attribute which is used to uniquely identify a particular entity instances from an entity.
