Concept explainers
a)
To explain the aspect of this distribution which make it difficult to summarize the results.
a)
Explanation of Solution
Given:
The histogram shows, the shape of the distribution is extremely left-skewed. The left bar is lot higher than other bars. Therefore, it is difficult to determine the center of the data. Also, it is difficult to determine the spread of the data because outliers cannot be identified in given bars.
b)
To explain the suggestions for better results.
b)
Explanation of Solution
Given:
The histogram shows, the shape of the distribution is extremely left-skewed. Therefore, it would be better to decrease the interval length of the bars. In that case, left bar does not shows much higher than other which leads easy to determine shape, center and spread of the distribution.
