The Lewis structure for a given compound is the representation of bonding and non bonding electron pairs in a molecule. The Lewis structure represents the number of single bonds and double bonds in the molecule along with the lone pair of electrons.
The electronic configuration of C and S is,

    C=1s22s22p2S=1s22s22p63s23p4

Since, carbon atom has two electrons in its p orbital, it can accept four more electrons and sulphur atom contains four atoms in its p orbital, it can accept two more electrons. Therefore, the carbon atoms makes double bond with two sulphur atoms to satisfy its valancy.
