Explanation of Solution

The high-fat diet offers many health benefits. This type of diet will help to lose weight and improve the health. High-fat diets are ill-advised for those with arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, or stroke. This diet drastically reduces the carbohydrate intake and replaces that with fat. This reduction in the carbohydrate puts the body into a metabolic state called ketosis.

During ketosis, the body becomes incredibly efficient in burning fat for the energy. It also turns the fat into ketones in the liver that can supply energy for the brain. This diet lowers the blood sugar, and insulin levels and shifts the body’s metabolism away from carbs and toward fat and ketones.
