To evaluate: The characteristics of Person S’s diet that is contraindicated for women with preeclampsia.
Introduction: Preeclampsia is a syndrome commonly encountered in first pregnancies which are characterized by oxidative stress, blood coagulation, increased blood pressure, insulin resistance, hypertension, high-fat content in the body, and maternal immune response to the fetus. In general, every organ of the mother is affected which causes problematic delivery. Therefore, it is advisable for pregnant women to have adequate physical activity along with a healthy diet consisting of a variety of fruits and vegetables with dairy products (with low-fat content) and fibers. Besides, one should prefer fish, poultry, and seafood and avoid over-processed food.
