To determine: The process how cells make the endergonic reaction that involves ATP formation from ADP and Pi.
Introduction: Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is defined as cell’s energy currency. It is a molecule that stores as well as transfers energy within cells. Adenosine triphosphate consists of adenine base, ribose sugar, and three phosphate groups.

Explanation of Solution
ATP is formed from the inorganic phosphate and adenosine triphosphate (ADP), and this reaction is endergonic. The reactions requiring a net energy input in order to proceed are termed as endergonic reactions. The exergonic reactions release energy. The cells utilize the released energy in order to attach an inorganic phosphate group to ADP. This results in ATP formation.
