Introduction:
In a mixture of two or more gases, every gas exerts a pressure. The partial pressure of a gas is defined as the part of the volume occupied by that particular gas in the mixture of the gases. Partial pressure is denoted by the letter P. It is calculated in mm Hg (millimeters of mercury).
