The behavior of mice upon light stimulation and the effect of frequency of light.
Introduction:
The mice can be genetically transformed by delivering channelrhodopsin-2 (ChR2) protein to the hypocretin (Hcrt) neuron cells by a virus. ChR2 protein is stimulated upon the exposure of light and this type of genetic technique is called as optogenetics. The effect of light is checked by exposing the genetically modified mice to the light.
