Summary Introduction

To write:

By labeling the small intestine and large intestine of the human body.

Introduction:

Thesmall intestineis an organ in the GI tract (Gastrointestinal tract). It is also called a small bowel. It is situated between the stomach and the large intestine. It collects pancreatic juice and bile by the pancreatic duct to aid digestion.

It is about 2.75 m to 10.49 m in size. The small intestine is essential for survival because it helps to digest and absorb the nutrients and minerals from the food. The small intestine strengthens the immune system of the body.

Thelarge intestineis the last organ in the GI tract (Gastrointestinal tract). It is also known as a large bowel or colon. It is around 5 feet in length.

Here the water is absorbed and the leftover waste material is collected as feces before being eliminated by defecation. The large intestine rises in the right iliac region of the pelvis, just below the waist in humans.
