Chapter 4.3, Problem 15AYP
Summary Introduction

To describe:

Two ways in which fungal spores arise.

Concept introduction:

Fungi reproduce by forming sexual spores with the help of fertile hyphae. However, in unfavorable conditions, fungi can also form asexual spores. These spores help the fungi to spread in a larger area by water and air due to the lightness of their weight. Under favorable conditions, they create an entirely new colony in a very short period of time.
