Introduction: Brain is the control organ of the nervous system in humans. It controls different important biological activities in the human body. The human brain can be divided into forebrain, the midbrain, and the hindbrain. Cerebrum along with thalamus and hypothalamus constitutes the forebrain. The midbrain is formed by the tectum and the tegmentum. Cerebellum, pons, and medulla are the part of the hindbrain.
