Introduction:

The Long muscles generally contain the fast-twitch muscle fibers. There is a low requirement of the oxygen in fast-twitch muscle fibers. The mitochondria are fewer in the fast-twitch muscle fibers. The fast-twitch muscle fibers are white in color because there the level of myoglobin is low in these fibers.
