Introduction:

Male hormone testosterone is important for the development of male secondary sexual characteristics. The interstitial cell present between the seminiferous tubules secretes the male sex hormone called androgen. Androgen is important for the production of testosterone. Female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone are important for the maturation and development of female gamete.

The spermatogenesis and oogenesis along with their location and timing. Also explain the important features of sperm and egg and how fertilization occurs.
