a.
To sketch: A graph of the given data.
Introduction: All the organisms interact with each other and with the environment to survive. The branch that deals with the study of the interaction of organisms and nature is called ecology. Community ecology is the study of the interaction of similar species living in a community.
b.
To determine: The aspects of community structure that changed over time on Krakatau.
Introduction: A community is described as a group of different species that live together in the same place and at the same time. The communities are assembled as a result of dynamic processes. In these processes, the older and previously living species undergo extinction while new species arrive in the community.
c.
To determine: Whether extra data are needed to conclude about the other aspects of community structure that are also changed overtime or not.
Introduction: All living organisms are dependent on energy for their survival. The environment maintains a continuous flow of energy from a lower trophic level to a higher level.
