Introduction:

The single contractile unit is a “muscle fiber”. There are two types of the muscle fibers $\text{Type I}$(slow-twitch muscle fibers) and $\text{Type II}$ (fast-twitch muscle fibers). The speed of the contraction of the muscles and the production of the $\text{ATP}$ (adenosine triphosphate) varies in the muscle fibers.
