Introduction: Contraction of muscles takes place when the sarcomere starts shortening down. The changes take place in the length of sarcomere which leads to the extension and flexion of the muscle fibers. Various factors are responsible for the process of muscle contraction to take place which later leads to the process of motion of muscles. Multiple units of sarcomere clubbed in the end to end direction for the conduction of the signals of muscle contraction.
