To explain: The approach that a counselor can adopt while working with the clients of ethnic groups who feel the pressure to give away their cultural and ethnic practices.

Introduction: Multiculturalism is a way that indicates the cultural diversity between and within two or more diverse groups. A perspective multiculturalism takes into consideration the specific beliefs, values, and actions influenced by a client’s gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, geographic region, sexual orientation, and the historical experiences with the dominant culture.

To explain: The way in which a person can work with the clients who see their own ethnicity or cultural heritage as burden to be overcome.

Introduction: The term “culture” is often associated with a specific ethnic group, gender, age, spirituality or religion, nationality, physical capacity, and any more. It can also be considered as a lens through which life is perceived.
