Airline companies apply baggage restrictions for their passengers. An
airline company has decided to apply a 10kg limitation for
passengers' hand luggage and 20kg for their normal baggage. When
passengers arrive, they enter their hand and normal luggage weight
from the keyboard. If passengers exceed their normal baggage
allowance of 10 dollars per gram, they pay 12 dollars per kg.
Accordingly, write the program that calculates the baggage price of
the airline they will go to according to the baggage values entered by
the arriving passenger and keeps this from closing the program for
each passenger. Note: If hand and normal baggage allowances are
stretched below the maximum value, the payment amount will be
considered not negative. An example printout is given on the right.

- write a program in python Write a program that will allow a student to enter their name and then ask them to solve 10 mathematical equations. The program should display two random numbers that are to be added, such as: 247 + 129 The program should allow the student to enter the answer. The program should then display whether their answer was right or wrong, and accumulate the right values. After the 10 questions are asked, calculate the average that was correct. Then display the student name, the number correct, and the average correct in both decimal and percentage format. In addition to any system functions you may use, you might consider the following functions: A function that allows the student to enter their name. A function that gets two random numbers, anywhere from 1 to 500. A function that displays the equation and asks the user to enter their answer. A function that checks to see if the answer is correct and accumulates the number correct. Write a program that reverses the digits of a number. Use this program to find if the number is a palindrome. Print if the number is palindrome or not.arrow_forwardGiven the sample code above in generating a random number. Create a program that lets the user play the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors against the computer. The program should work as follows. 1. When the program begins, a random number in the range of 1 through 3 is generated. If the number is 1, then the computer has chosen rock. If the number is 2, then the computer has chosen paper. If the number is 3, then the computer has chosen scissors. (Don't display the computer's choice yet.) 2. The user enters his or her choice of "rock", "paper", or "scissors" at the keyboard. (You can use a menu if you prefer.) 13. The computer's choice is displayed. 4. A winner is selected according to the following rules: a. If one player chooses rock and the other player chooses scissors, then rock wins. (The rock smashes the scissors.) b. If one player chooses scissors and the other player chooses paper, then scissor wins. (Scissors cuts paper.) c. If one player chooses paper and the other player…arrow_forward
- This example creates a program to teach a first grade child how to learn subtractions. The program randomly generates two single- digit integers number1 and number2 with number1 > number2 and displays a question such as "What is 9 – 2?" to the student. After the student types the answer, the program displays a message to indicate whether the answer is correct.arrow_forwardCoin Exchange: Write a program that will determine how many coins of each denomination (50kr, 25kr, 10kr, Skr, and 1kr) are required to make up a given amount of change. For example, to make 57kr we could use 1 x 50kr, 1 x 5kr, and 2 x 1kr., It should be obvious that many combinations of coins are possible. For example, in the example above, we could make up 57kr with: (57 x 1kr) or (2 x 25kr and 7 x 1kr). However, your program must use the smallest number of coins (10 points). Example program output: Enter amount: 40 40 Kr = 1 x 25Kr 1х 10Кr 1 x 5Krarrow_forwardPart 1: Complete the survey. Part 2: Peek-a-boo is a fun game that little kids like to play. To simulate this game on the computer, write a program that will generate a random number between 1 and 4. Then, will print to the screen the animal name associated to that number. The animal names used will be: pig when a 1 is generated cow when a 2 is generated chicken when a 3 is generated horse when a 4 is generated If your program generates a 3, the output will be: chicken The player will then enter a 1 if they would like to play again or anything else to exit the program. If the player enters "1 1 1 0", the output will be: horse chicken cow horse For coding simplicity, follow each output animal by a space, even the last one. Hint: To make testing easier, seed your random number generator with 0.arrow_forward
- QuadraticAA.java Write a program that solves quadratic equations of the form , where The values A, B, and C will be real numbers (doubles) that you will request from the user. The equation below is what is used to solve for . Remember, there will be two solutions for x (not necessarily distinct). No loops are necessary, so don’t include any. To find the two solutions for this equation, you will use the quadratic formula: Remember that it must be solved for both the and : You will ask the user to input a value for A, B, and C (in that order, using those same letters), then you will use those values to find the two values of x as above. Your output MUST then display the original quadratic equation back to the user with their coefficients in place, and then output the two results. We will assume that the user will not put zero for A. *Format ALL OUTPUT VALUES (including the equation) to have only two decimal places. There is a test case below. Your program should run the…arrow_forwardSimulate the dice game of lucky sevens. The rules are: roll two dice if the sum equals 7, win $4 if the sum is not 7, lose $1 Write a program that asks the user how much they would like start the game with. - f. A laborant in a laboratory does a number of antigen tests in one day. Write a program that simulates the number of antigen tests done in a day in a laboratory, displays the number of positives and negatives, and calculates the % of positives in one day. Your program needs to first generate a random number that will show the number of tests done in a day. One laboratory in a day cannot do more than 100 tests and less than 1 (they do at least one). Then for each of the tests, your program needs to generate a random number to show whether they are positive or negative. In order to write this program, you need to have the following three functions used by the main function: test result (void): This function generates a test result. It should randomly return either one or zero. 1 means positive test result and 0 means negative test result. float positive percentage (int, int) : This function takes the total number of positives and the total number of tests and returns the % of positives.…arrow_forwardWrite a program that generates a random number in the range from 1 through 100 After generating the random number, the user is to guess the number. If the user’s guess is higher than the random number, the program should display “Too high, try again” If user’s guess is lower than the random number, the program should display “Too low, try again”. If the user guesses the number, the program should congratulate the user and then generate a NEW random number so the game can start over.
